The thing that is typical of Taiwanese culture

The thing that is typical of Taiwanese culture is temple. First, temples in Taiwan always have a lot of stall keepers around which make there a lot of people visit. And they always sell tasty foods, such as sausages、roast squids、ice cream in egg shape、sugarcoated haws on a stitch、steaks、fruits and stinky tofu. Or you can also play games like shooting balloons and noosing circles. You must have fun here.
Second,a lot of disciples come here to pray for good luck and safety,so temples are the vitality supports of people in Taiwan. Whenever we feel confuse and fear,we always go to the temples and ask for help from the God.
Third, temples are the sources of energy. Without temples, many people may not have such good sites to do business. Without temples, many people cannot have clam spirit. Without temples, people may lose the support of spirit.
Every time get into the temples,I can clam down my spirit and clear the thing which I am confused about. Sometimes,I can even feel the God.
You can feel that Taiwanese are really friendly. I guess that you must love here.

Introduce

Hi! I’m Chung Yuan Wu. I’m seventeen years old and I have a happy family. My hobbies are playing ping-pong and basketball. I also play on-line games sometimes. And I had learned Wei-qi for more than 8 years. It’s an interesting game which is come from China. It will make you smarter if you play it often. And my father is an engineer. He is very humorous and often makes me happy. My mother is engaged in insurance. Her hobby is making money and she often goes in for charities. My younger sister is interested in Japanese comic books like Death Note.

When it comes to Chinese New Year, I will think of red envelopes which are red paper containing money as a gift and firecrackers. During Chinese New Year, I can see many people enkindling firecrackers because Chinese believe that enkindling firecrackers can make people luckier and get rich. I also visited relatives. Seniors gave me some red envelopes and hoped that children can be safe and sound this year. And we dined together with all relatives on New Year’s Eve and enkindled firecrackers at midnight.

My New Year desires are having better grades than last year and being more hard-working on schoolwork because I will have an exam that decides which college I will go to after one year. I have to be more hard-working to get great grades so that I can choose a better college. I know that I will have hard times during preparing the exam, but it is necessary. Finally, I want to think you for watching my writings. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
